Designing A Learning Environment

You can develop a concept design for a curriculum/learning environment
I don't expect you to be able to provide a detailed curriculum design in the time we have available, especially in terms of a developed detailed plan for every experience or activity in the curriculum/learning environment. You can provide an overview or concept sketch of the flow of your proposed program: in general terms, what sorts of experiences will the participants engage with and how will they be sequenced, how much time will they take, and what sort of support system will they require(people, equipment, particular settings, etc.). Think of this as an architect's concept drawing rather than as a detailed construction blueprint.
Develop a concept design for a learning environment:
For this assignment, my focus will be to design an online curriculum delivery environment. I would like to devise a really good Moodle implementation while remaining cognizant of the short comings of this current tool. Based in learning theory and steeped in the current realities of internet technology, the designed learning environment will account for the needs of student tracking, individual learning modules, peer interactions, learning journals, Face-2-Face (through class site), embedded video integration, etc.
I will be taking into consideration many of the positives from other LMS's in addition to current shortcomings within this learning environment. One of my goals will be to submit a suggestion list and background work to the Moodle community for development and integration of the "missing" components.
